Best creole shrimp and grits I've had in a long time! It had the perfect kick of spice and the consistency of the sauce was great. I was nervous at first about the grit cakes because I haven't had the best experience with them in the past, but these were pretty good. I was going to try the steak but maybe next time. I'll definitely be back again.
I got the portobello wrap w/ chips for pick up and it's pretty good. Homemade chips are one of my weaknesses and they taste so good, could use some salt tho. My food was ready when I got there and I didn't have to wait or anything. Also the price isn't terrible or anything either.

While visiting Edenton, NC my wife and I stopped into 309 Bistro. What a great find! We both had wonderful meals. I had the shrimp poboy and my wife had the 'kids' grilled cheese along with the mushroom spinache soup of the day. Both were delicious. The staff and restaurant were observing COVID-19 safety precautions and the staff and those not eating were masked. If you're visiting or just passing through Edenton, this should definitely be one of your stops.
Friendly atmosphere and fast service. I went during lunch time and we got our food and drinks fast. The food was great! My husband said the fish was the best he has had in years. It was perfectly breaded and cooked. My BLT was huge and delicious. The homemade chips were also really good. I loved the variety of drinks and beer they offered. Their food is priced perfectly in my opinion.
